Blyth-Brussels Bantam Girls head to Southampton
The Blyth-Brussels Bantam girls were keen to play hockey Wednesday, December 16th when they headed to Southampton on a stormy night.
The girls played an aggressive game which saw many of the girls in the penalty box, even a few who had never visited it before. The Southampton team managed to out play us, but we didn't give up. We had several good shots, but just couldn't land one in the net.
The game ended in a 4-0 loss, but it was a good effort by our girls. They are just getting warmed up for their two games this weekend.
