Midgets Add 2 More Wins

The Midget rep team have continued their winning ways adding two more games to their list.

Game one saw Blyth victorious over their Drayton opponents by a score of 4 to 0.  In game two, against the Ripley Wolves, our team soundly defeated their opponents 8 to 2.  Adding to their point totals for the season were goal scorers: Dallas Pennington, Adam Cronin, Ty Sebastian, Shea McLean, Kirby Cook, Dan Dery and Tyler Middegaal.  Assists were given to: Tyler Stevenson, Tyler Middegaal, Ty Sebastian, Austin Sjaarda, John Lecomte, Dan Dery and Goalie, Ryan Baker.  Our next game is Monday, October 26th in Mitchell.

    Blyth vs. Norwich - OMHA Semi-finals
    The Blyth Midget Bulldogs are in a real dog fight with last year's reigning OMHA Midget D champs, Norwich Hawks.  The series began on February 27th in Blyth and will end on Tuesday, March 9th in Norwich in a sure to be spectacular game 6.

    The Blyth Midget Bulldogs swept their series with Drayton winning three straight and capturing the WOAA Midget D title.  All team members are to be congratulated for their hard work and excellent effort.

    The Blyth Midget Bulldogs swept their first series in their quest to be WOAA champions.  Blyth defeated Elma Logan in three straight and now move on to play the winner of the Ripley - Drayton series for the WOAA title.
