Round 2 - Battle to Become the WOAA Champs!
Who wants it more? This is the question for the teams fighting for the WOAA champs...
Our kids sure gave the Drayton team a run for their money. The first two games we lost to them, but only by one goal. So they knew they had to play a top notch game of hockey to beat the Blyth team.
Game 1 was played on our ice, the kids played their hearts out. I think it was all the penalties that hurt us. (Rule of thumb boys can't play hockey from the sin bin) anyways... we still went out and got our two goals. Dustin on a break away; and the second again Dustin taking the pass from Josh and Curtis. A 3-2 loss is not anything to pout about.
Game 2 we travelled to Drayton to make the score even less. A 2-1 loss... our goal went to Curtis or Jeremy (can't really tell on this sheet) assisted by Dustin.
I don't know who it is harder on the coaches, parents, or the kids!! I think the parents all have shorter nails because it was such a nail biter game.
